New Grain Handling Setup with 115,000 bu bin

 

We have lots of pictures of 2010 harvest to share!  The harvest went extremely smooth.  There were virtually no rain delays and we had such dry corn.  It was quite a contrast from our wet and soggy harvest of 2009!

We were honored to be asked by Channel to allow their crew to set up shop here at the farm in order to shoot a tv commercial.  We did not know what we were getting in to!  What a great experience it was for all of us.  The crew was great and we learned alot about the way a tv commercial is made and they all learned alot about a family farm!  The commercial began airing in October of 2009 on Channel 3.

Harvest is always a very exciting time for us of course. Fall 2009 was no different.  Here are a few pictures showing our activities.
