Our Staff

Stephanie Meinhold has been employed by Heritage Family Farms since 2008. She works in our office handling payroll, bookkeeping, and record keeping. Stephanie is the friendly voice you will hear when you call our office.

Lamar Miller is a valued employee that has helped us on a part-time basis for several years before joining us on a full-time basis. Lamar loves to farm and we are so glad he loves to farm with our operation. Lamar is a great asset to the farm and is a self-starter and an excellent equipment operator.

Luke Wenger started with HFF for Harvest 2010.  He is now a full time employee and we are glad to have him.  Luke is a great operator and a natural when it comes to equipment.

Matt Bernius is also a life-long friend of the Green family. Matt enjoys running equipment in the spring and fall for the farm as well. He is an Agco District Sales Manager and the Arthur Village President, aka Mayor!

Kenny Schrock also fills in for the farm in the spring and fall to operate equipment for us, when he not working at his full-time job.  Kenny shares the same passion for farming as our family. He and his family raise and show boer goats.  You can read about them here.

Andy Bernius is a life-long friend of the Green family. Andy works full time for the road commissioner.  He works on the farm during the spring and fall on a part time basis.

Aaron Enlow drives an auger wagon for us.  This is his second harvest here.  We are glad to have him back in the tractor.

Schad Bird worked harvest 2010 and then has been our number one grain handler as needed since then.  He works also at Super 8 when he isn't behind the wheel!

Dave Schrock has joined us to run the chisel plow or drive a semi when he is not working as a Salesman for Coach House Garages.  He is a great operator and asset to our crew! Dave and Kenny are brothers.

Lavon Jess moonlights running a chisel plow for us in the fall.  Lavon has worked here on the farm since he was very young (as early as 1997 or before?)  He was a full time employee for many years before he left to work with his Dad in their family horseshoeing business several years ago. Chris Jess, Lavon's father, also helps us out with some late night hours running the tractor in the fall.  Chris and his family have been friends and neighbors of our family for several generations.

Tom Lyons works for HFF on an as-needed basis.  Tom runs his own farm in a neighboring town, but lends us a hand when he is able.  Tom does some mowing and truck driving for the farm.  Tom and his boys have been great to have around here.

Jeff Lyons has recently been a full timer at HFF until last year when he left to work full time for the road commissioner in his hometown.  He has agreed to spend some of his evening and weekend hours with us during the busy seasons.  We are happy to have him back.

John Mast is joining us for the first time this fall.  We have already had him busy working on equipment and now he is going to drive a plow once the fields are ready.

Chris Lester is going to be back on the road for HFF.  He drove for Clausen and Green over-the-road many, many years ago and was a great driver.  We are glad to have him back behind the wheel.

Scott Daily is going to spend a little time with us this fall for the first time.  Scott has been around for a long time, as a friend, not as an equipment operator.  Scott works for Maxwell Countertops in Farmer City every day, and is going to share a little of his free time with us here on the farm.

We have a few more guys that are chiseling in the evening.  They have eluded the camera as of yet!  As you can see, things get pretty busy around here and we are so very thankful to all of the guys who put in countless hours to get the crop harvested. It is a compliment to us that so many are willing to spend their after hours here with us, year after year.  Thank you guys!!
